Video won't play
Listed here are things you can try if videos won't play.
Check the ID
Try entering just the video ID into the Change Video ID/Video ID text box. Which part of the URL is the Video ID?
You can also try dragging in the video, rather than entering/pasting the URL manually.
Check its Privacy
If you are trying to watch a video or playlist you created, check its privacy settings. Private playlists and videos may not play in Mini Player for YouTube, even if you're signed in. If the video or playlist you're trying to play is private and it won't play in Mini Player for YouTube, try setting it to public or unlisted.
Check your Internet Explorer version
Open Internet Explorer and click/tap Help > About or click/tap the settings icon in the top right and select About Internet Explorer to check what version of Internet Explorer you have. The latest version of Internet Explorer is Internet Explorer 11. Older versions of Windows don't support the latest version of Internet Explorer and so you may not be able to watch YouTube videos on older versions of Windows.
You can check for updates to Internet Explorer using Windows Update. If there are any updates, install them.
Check for app updates
Make sure that you have the latest version of YouTube Mini Player installed. How do I check for updates?
